Rex Black Magik Drip Wax is similar to Black Diamond Hot Wax, but in a temporary liquid state.

You get the benefits of hot wax application combined with the ease of use of bottle-applied lubes.

Black Magik keeps the chain extremely clean and stays efficient in dirty riding conditions. It utilizes the record-breaking Black Diamond additive technology that extends the life of chains and chainrings.

Drip waxes are typically soft and oily compared to hot waxes. But that’s not the case with Black Magik. Black Magik is the market’s first fully uncompromising liquid wax, matching the composition of hot wax exactly.

Its completely non-oily formula was developed in collaboration with Helsinki University researchers specializing in emulsion technology. The advanced emulsion process transforms the wax into extremely fine micro-droplets. Once the water carrier evaporates, only genuine Rex wax remains.

You’ll notice Black Magik’s similarity with hot wax as it stiffens the chain after lubrication, almost like hot wax. During a short run-in period, the chain breaks in, and excess wax sheds from the surface. The internal and external pressures exerted on the waxed chain compress the wax droplets into a solid state, resembling molten wax.

Suitable for road, gravel and MTB riding in all conditions.

Leaves a dry to touch and clean wax surface.

If applied generously on both sides of chain, one bottle should give approximately 40 applications.

Black Magik can be used on its own or as a hot wax complement:

Switch gears to cross-chaining position. This helps in open the small gaps between plates and rollers, and lets the wax penetrate the chain better. Apply generously to a clean chain, rotate until the wax penetrates the chain, and let it dry for 12 hours.
